What We Collect

OpCalc does not collect your name, email address, or any account information. We do not require registration to use the tool.

The following data is collected automatically by third-party services we use:

  • Google Analytics — pages visited, time on site, device type, browser type, and approximate geographic location (city level). IP addresses are anonymized.
  • MarketData.app — ticker symbols you enter are sent to their API to retrieve stock and options data.
  • Vercel — standard server logs including IP addresses and request data, retained per Vercel's standard policy.

How We Use Data

Analytics data is used solely to understand how the tool is used — which pages are visited, which features are used, and where users encounter problems. We use this to improve the product. We do not sell data. We do not use data for advertising targeting.

Cookies

Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish users and measure sessions. You can opt out at any time using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. We do not use cookies for any other purpose.

Third-Party Services

OpCalc uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

Data Retention

Google Analytics retains data for 14 months by default. Server logs are retained per Vercel's standard policy. OpCalc does not store any user data independently.

Your Rights

You can request deletion of analytics data associated with your browser by contacting us. You can also opt out of Google Analytics tracking at any time using the browser add-on linked above.

Children

OpCalc is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
